More nostalgic fun! I was almost exclusively a buyer of Marvel Comics, back in the day, and when I bought Gold Key comics, they were Doctor Solar or Mighty Samson. But comics like these Jetson issues were always in the periphery - at other kids' homes, on the spinner racks where I bought my comics. And, of course, in the case of the Jetsons, I watched th TV show. For some reason, these cmics that seemed less important to me at the time give me as much of a nostlagia buzz as my beloved Marvels! Just seeing the covers is apleasure! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much MiSD for these wonderful comics! I can remember every original episode of The Jetsons, wanting to be Judy and dating Jet Screamer! Eep Opp Ork Ah-ah! These were the most fun, forward looking and imaginative of all the science fiction cartoons. All advances in technology are compared to how the Jetsons lived. Just think, we now have video on our phones and but where are our flying cars in a suitcase?
